The NAPFA Foundation offers NAPFA members the following pro-bono opportunities:
Advisers Give Back
The NAPFA Foundation and NAPFA have partnered with Advisers Give Back,
a platform allowing consumers to connect with a NAPFA member at no cost. Advisers Give Back makes it easy for you to remotely conduct pro-bono financial planning. You have the simple option of setting your availability, and Advisers Give Back will match you with qualified clients.
Building Homes for Heroes
Through this partnership, NAPFA members provide one-on-one pro-bono financial planning to disabled veterans who recently were gifted a home from Building Homes for Heroes. Many recipients are first-time homeowners and need a financial plan to ensure they can afford to maintain the property and pay the property taxes. The Pro bono advisor meets with the veteran monthly or bi-monthly for up to two years either in-person, phone or virtually depending on proximity.
College Affordability Project
With the rising costs of college, the NAPFA Foundation has dedicated itself to offering families the tools needed to create a cost-effective plan for paying for college. Take action by volunteering as an advisor to help families take control over their college funding plans. Earn up to 4.5 CE credits for joining.
Savvy Ladies
Savvy Ladies’ mission is to empower women to take control of their finances by providing a professional network of support & guidance, offering free financial advisors & educational programming to help women make informed & confident financial decisions.
